Glass Animals Sheffield: part one, setlist and where can I park for Sheffield O2 Academy


The shows were originally announced last summer and were scheduled to take place in May 2021.

However, due to UK restrictions on coronaviruses at the time, the group pushed back the tour dates until November.

In addition to the Sheffield Show, they have also added two new shows at the Portsmouth Guildhall and the Brighton Center.

Glass Animals will perform at the O2 Academy in Sheffield on Sunday 21 November, as part of their tour for their third album, “Dreamland”.

The group will have played in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham, Leeds, Bristol and London before stopping in Sheffield.

Who are the glass animals?

Glass Animals are an independent rock band from Oxford.

The group is made up of childhood friends Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer and Joe Seaward.

The band released their first EP ‘Leaflings’ in 2012 while still in college, before releasing their eponymous EP in 2013.

After catching the attention of producer Paul Epworth (Adele, Coldplay, Paul McCartney and Bruno Mars), Epworth signed the band to his label Wolf Tone and the band released their debut album “Zaba”.

Their second album ‘How to Be a Human Being’ was released in 2016, followed by ‘Dreamland’ in 2020.
