VLADIMIR Putin’s unstoppable “Satan 2” hypersonic missile, equipped with twelve warheads, is said to be capable of destroying an area the size of the UK, France or Texas with a single hit.
The deadly missile was reportedly launched earlier today from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Arkhangelsk Oblast in northwestern Russia.
According to Russian defense sources, it traveled almost the entire length of Russia, landing at Kura Missile Test Range on the Kamchatka Peninsula in 15 minutes.
The video shows the massive 115ft missile launched from an underground silo, unleashing a massive fireball.
The 16,000 mph Sarmat killer rocket can carry between 10 and 15 warheads, allowing it to drop multiple nukes over an area in a single strike.
The bombs are 1,000 times more powerful than those dropped by the United States on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan during World War II.
This means they are capable of spraying an area the size of England and Wales or Texas in the United States.
Only one of them contains eight megatons of explosive power equivalent to TNT.
Officially, the RS-28 Sarmat has the ability to use unpredictable trajectories and routes that “significantly prevent their destruction even by advanced missile defense systems”, according to the Kremlin.
Military expert Dr. Paul Craig Roberts has sensationally claimed that “five or six” of Russian missiles could wipe out the entire eastern seaboard of the United States.
Russian media Sputnik previously reported that an RS-28 rocket is “capable of wiping out parts of the Earth the size of France or Texas”.
Based on this, it was reported that the weapon could “twice wipe out an area the size of England and Wales”.
It comes like…
Russia first announced it was testing the missile in October 2017.
At the time, it was heralded as the most powerful and deadliest atomic warhead on the planet.
Makeyev Rocket Design Bureau, the maker of the missiles, said it was “created in order to provide effective nuclear deterrence of Russian strategic forces”.
Built with new guidance technology capable of circumterrestrial navigation, the weapons are also capable of striking from unexpected directions in most parts of the world.
