Hyundai has added a sportier variant of the N Line to the i20 supermini range, with prices starting at £ 22,395.
Inspired by the upcoming hot-hatch i20, the N Line version stands out from the classic i20s with a more aggressive look and larger alloy rims.
The 1.0-liter turbocharged engine, with a mild hybrid system, develops 120 hp in the N Line models – a power bump of 20 hp.
Two transmissions are available: a six-speed manual (iMT) which has an electronically controlled clutch to decouple the transmission from the engine under certain driving conditions to improve efficiency, or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (23645 £).
Hyundai’s i20 range starts at £ 18,375.
The N Line finish includes LED headlights and combination taillights, LED daytime running lights, 10.25 inch digital dashboard, 10.25 inch touchscreen with satnav, DAB, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluelink Telematics.
It is also fitted with a number of standard Hyundai SmartSense systems with six airbags, the eCall automatic emergency call system, lane keeping assist (LKA) with lane departure warning (LDW), Driver Attention Alert (DAA), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB). ), Forward Collision Assist (FCA) with pedestrian and cyclist detection as well as automatic headlights with high beam assist (HBA) are standard. Standard speed-sensitive automatic door locks, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Start Assist (HAC) control also offer additional peace of mind.
Changes to the i20 N Line’s exterior design include a dedicated front bumper and grille fitted with the N Line badge, bespoke 17-inch alloy wheels, side skirts and privacy glass. A redesigned rear bumper houses the signature N triangular rear fog light and dual exhaust silencer.
Interior changes include red accents on the door trim, heating and ventilation controls, as well as red stitching on the N-brand seats. An N-brand leather steering wheel and shifter are standard, all like a black headliner.
