Chandigarh: The violence in Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh has yet to end, while a similar incident has been reported in Narayangarh in the Ambala district of Haryana. The convoy of Kurukshetra BJP MP Naib Singh Saini hit a Bhawanpreet farmer showing black flags, injuring him and seeking treatment in hospital.
Farmers began to gather on the spot after receiving information about the incident. Police were deployed for security purposes. The farmers allege that the clash took place with the intention of killing Bhawanpreet. The Bharatiya Kisan Union Chadhuni faction filed a complaint with the Narayan Garh police station. In fact, MP Naib Singh Saini had arrived in Narayangarh to attend a reception. Informed of his arrival, the farmers rushed there to protest. Bhawanpreet is said to have come on the road when Saini left with his convoy after the event. In the meantime, he was hit by the MP’s convoy car.
Injured farmer Bhawanpreet said he had arrived to join the protest. They were standing by the side of the road with a black flag in their hand. During this time, the driver of the MP’s convoy deliberately hit him. He alleged that BJP leaders also wanted to repeat the UP incident in Haryana.
