DACIA has unveiled details of a special Extreme SE edition that should make its Duster family SUV even more attractive to buyers.

Based on the popular top-of-the-line Prestige trim level, the budget-friendly Romanian marque’s new model adds 17-inch black alloy wheels and the option of an exclusive new Urban Gray paint finish alongside seven other colours.

All are complemented by side mirrors, grille and roof rails finished in quartz gray with orange detailing. The tailgate trim with “Duster” script is a combination of black and satin chrome.

The theme continues inside, with orange trim around the satin chrome air vents, a charcoal gray center console surround and piano black inserts in the front door panels. There are also orange stitching on the seats.

Standard equipment includes automatic climate control, keyless entry, multi-view camera, blind spot warning, heated seats and the company’s Media Nav infotainment system with eight-inch touchscreen , wireless smartphone mirroring and satellite navigation.

As well as a choice of petrol and diesel engines, there is also the option of a dual-fuel powertrain which includes a turbocharged petrol engine capable of running on both petrol and LPG.

Depending on the engine, the new special edition also offers a four-wheel drive variant or an automatic transmission.

The order book will open in April, with first deliveries in May, and the Duster Extreme SE will be available from £17,495 on the road – rising to £21,645 for the all-wheel-drive diesel.
