SAINT BÈDE: Last Sunday 5 was the feast of Pentecost. Padley Pilgrimage: On Sunday July 10, 2022, the Interdiocesan Pilgrimage in honor of the Padley Martyrs, Blessed Robert Ludlam and Blessed Nicholas Garlick will be led by the Rt. Rev. John Arnold, Bishop of Salford. Pilgrims are invited to assemble at 3pm at Grindleford station for a procession to the chapel. Mass will begin at 3:30 p.m. There are trains every hour from Sheffield station. Bus from Sheffield Interchange – High Peak route 65. For sat nav use postcode S32 2JA. Pilgrims are advised to arrive early and have a picnic in the park. Caritas Diocese of Hallam – British Sign Language Service: As part of their growing offer, Caritas Hallam is looking to create a database of parishioners who are willing and able to provide BSL services to the Diocese of Hallam on an ad hoc basis. This could be for example during a wedding service, where BSL would be a welcome improvement to the service, or it could be a request from a parish priest for a mass signed BSL.
