PREVIEW: Leah Graybill to compete in 2022 NCAA Indoor T&F Championships


Lea Graybill will represent the Shippensburg University women’s indoor track and field team this weekend as they compete in the 200 meters at the 2022 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships to be held at the University of Pittsburgh State.

This is Graybill’s first appearance at the NCAA track and field championships, either indoors or outdoors. She is scheduled to compete in the 200-meter preliminaries at 6:35 p.m. Friday. The 200-meter finals are scheduled for 7:55 p.m. Saturday.

Graybill qualified for Nationals due to her performance at Bucknell Tune Up on February 18. She improved her school and conference record with a time of 24.73 seconds on the Gerhard Fieldhouse flat track which converts to 24.36 seconds for the NCAA championship track. That time of 24.36 seconds tied for 18th on the national qualifying list.
