TIPPING Point fans found themselves watching the show’s latest episode through their fingers after a contestant made a number of gaffes.
Ben Shephard was back to host the ITV quiz favorite where three contestants compete for the big cash prize at the end.
However, fans felt seriously distracted by the unfortunate mishaps of a contestant.
Viewers are introduced to Emily, a care home manager from Glousceter, but many of them regret not being there as they struggle to watch her make mistake after mistake.
Taking to Twitter, viewers were eager to point out Emily’s shortcomings and air their own thoughts.
A disgruntled fan wrote, “F*** me, that was painful.”
Another viewer in disbelief at her performance said, “No Ben, she struggled with the questions. She would struggle with her name #TippingPoint”
A third added: “She struggled throughout tbf #TippingPoint.”
Even more viewers raged on the screens after her disappointing performance.
A viewer added: ‘Again reminding us all not to take a general knowledge quiz if you are stupid.
While a fifth fan had some sympathy for Emily, writing: “Emily is obviously a nice person. I hope she enjoys what she has won. If the questions don’t fall on you, you don’t have no chance of getting on a game show. I’m just saying.
Emily herself was quick to comment on the backlash to her appearance, responding on Twitter saying, “Honestly, I was overconfident after years of watching and screaming the answers on TV.”
It comes after an episode of the show earlier this week featured a contestant with a unique name that got everyone talking.
As Satnam debuted on the show, dozens of people took to Twitter in droves after his name was mistaken for something else.
Alongside an array of shocked face emojis, one person wrote: ‘Is it just me who thought Satnam was posing as Satnav?
Echoing their comments, someone else said, “I honestly thought his name was Satnav. How funny would that be?”
Tipping Point airs weekdays at 4pm on ITV.
