USAC AMSOIL / National Sprint Cars to end 2021 action track season on October 1

With a season that has seen top level racing, sometimes literally, USAC AMSOIL / National Sprint Cars will now make their last visit of the year to the historic Terre Haute Action Track. Friday October 1st, the Jim Hurtubise Classic presented by Terre Haute Chevrolet will bring the Action Track back to life one last time for this exciting 2021 season.

The action track will host a hotly contested USAC points battle, a battle that will see the top three, Brady Bacon, Kevin Thomas Jr. and Justin Grant, trying to take the lead, and a victory on the track. action might help do just that.

Points leader and two-time USAC Sprint Car Action Track winner Brady Bacon is hoping for a third victory on Action Track. Bacon, after leaving the track earlier this year in a qualifying race, made a full recovery and moved to his spare car where he was able to finish third in the feature and complete an incredibly remarkable race for the star of the USAC. He hopes to bring that same intensity back to the action track for an end-of-season race to climb higher in the standings.

Seeking to devour Bacon’s hopes and earn his third career Action Track victory over USAC Sprint Car, Kevin Thomas, Jr. Thomas, who now sits second in points and has seven wins in the 2021 season, is looking to continue his success on the Action Track where his last start saw him finish in the top ten. Thomas is looking to continue his success in 2021 on the action track and get closer to Bacon for the playoffs championship.

Number three in the standings and looking for a lucky number seven win on the season is Justin Grant. Grant’s last run at Terre Haute almost saw him win the back-to-back features of the Indiana Sprint Week Action Track. A feat that has only been achieved once by Tyler Courtney in 2018-2019. Grant, who has been successful at Terre Haute, will look to the historic track for an incredible chance to climb the ranks and catch up with Thomas and Bacon.

This end of the season for the Action Track will be one you don’t want to miss. Stands will open for USAC AMSOIL / National Sprint Cars at 3pm, grandstands will open at 4pm, hot laps / qualifying will start at 6.30pm, with races to follow. The Jim Hurtubise Classic presented by Terre Haute Chevrolet will be a great event for the whole family, and tickets will be available at the door on race day.
